Barbara Hallman received her B.A. degree in Communications from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and soon after graduation joined the Peace Corps in Guatemala teaching Health and Physical Education in the rural elementary schools. After moving to California, she earned her Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Art from CSUF and has taught Art in the Elementary and Secondary Levels, currently in her twelfth year at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana teaching Mixed Media and Printmaking. She is also a mixed media Gourd Artist and sells her
work in Art shows and festivals in California and Arizona.
