Lauren Valantine

Lauren Valantine received a BA in Studio Art from UC Irvine and a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential from Concordia University.

Along with All the Arts, Lauren ran a studio for Fullerton’s Art Atelier program at both Raymond and Orangethorpe Elementary schools. She has worked with children in a variety of settings, including running a summer camp, teaching in a bilingual kindergarten, and working in a public elementary age pilot Montessori program. Her time with the City of Irvine Fine Arts Center involved working with artists of all ages in special events, gallery exhibits, art classes, and curating the All-High School Arts exhibition. Along with teaching for All the Arts, she currently runs The Imagine Lab creativity center at Santiago Middle School in Orange, and teaches volunteer art lessons at Isaiah House Homeless Shelter in Santa Ana.

Lauren's personal art style is about as mixed-media as it gets, and includes photography, printmaking, painting, ceramics, mosaic, beading, textile art, and a ten year career decorating custom cakes. She is thrilled to be teaching for All the Arts for All the Kids and particularly loves seeing the individual beauty that each child is innately capable of expressing through art.
